Association Name and Headquarters
Article 1- The name of the association is “SMILE CHILD, CHILD PROTECTION SOCIAL CULTURAL ASSISTANCE ASSOCIATION.” The headquarters of the association is in ISTANBUL. No branches will be opened.
Objectives of the Association and Areas of Work and Activities to Achieve These Objectives, as well as the Field of Activity
Article 2- The association primarily aims to protect, care for, accommodate, dress, feed, contribute to the education and training of children in need, provide material and financial assistance to them, provide all kinds of support for them to become useful adults to themselves and society, provide assistance in terms of health and education, provide assistance to school-aged children in clothing, food, stationery, and school needs, help them become individuals who do not commit crimes in society, provide assistance to the development, protection, shelter, education, and training of children in all kinds of institutions, organizations, and public centers, such as child protection institutions, associations, and foundations, support and develop centers for child protection and care, provide them with material, financial, social, and spiritual support, provide educational, instructional, health, and future support to children in need of treatment due to their psycho-social conditions, provide assistance in the legal field, collaborate with private, corporate, and public institutions and organizations to support them, provide all kinds of support in research and development projects, provide support to prevent children from all kinds of violence, abuse, and child labor, prevent children from becoming involved in crime and becoming delinquents, protect and care for them, collaborate and support schools, courses, associations, foundations, and similar institutions and organizations related to these issues, establish contact with all public institutions and organizations related to children, provide them with incentives, establish contact and cooperation with them in all areas, protect and care for children and young people from getting involved in any kind of crime and becoming delinquents, re-socialize and reintegrate delinquent youth and children into society, prevent them from committing crimes again, take necessary measures and ensure their implementation in these matters, support child protection and care projects, encourage institutions working on these issues, provide material and spiritual assistance, and, if necessary, open courses, classrooms, dormitories, dining halls, and dormitories for children and students in need, and provide scholarships to them, carry out work at the local, national, and international levels to protect and transfer the national and spiritual values that have existed in our society for a long time to the new generations, carry out studies in the fields of education, social and cultural assistance, and similar areas that contribute to social development and provide solutions to the needs and problems of the community at the national and international levels beyond the members, establish contact with domestic and foreign public institutions, organizations, associations, foundations, and similar institutions for the purpose of carrying out its activities. The association has been established for the purpose of the activities and objectives detailed above.
Areas of Work and Forms of Operation by the Association
1- Conduct research to activate and develop activities related to children.
2- Organize training activities such as courses, seminars, conferences, and panels.
3- Obtain all kinds of information, documents, publications, and publications necessary for the realization of the objective, establish a documentation center, publish newspapers, magazines, books, bulletins, and similar publications to announce its activities.
4- Provide a healthy working environment for the realization of the objective, provide all kinds of technical tools, equipment, fixed assets, and stationery materials.
5- Engage in fundraising activities with the necessary permissions and accept donations and aid from domestic and foreign sources.
6- Establish and operate economic, commercial, and industrial enterprises to generate the necessary income to realize the objective and carry out their operations.
7- Open lounges, establish social and cultural facilities for the benefit and utilization of its members, and furnish them.
8- Organize or ensure the organization of dinner meetings, concerts, balls, theaters, exhibitions, tours, and entertaining activities among its members or provide opportunities for its members to benefit from such activities.
9- Purchase, sell, lease, lease out movable and immovable properties necessary for the realization of the objective and establish real rights on immovable properties.
10- Establish foundations within the country and abroad, establish federations, or join an established federation with the necessary permissions, establish facilities that associations can establish, if necessary.
11- Engage in international activities, become a member of associations or organizations abroad, cooperate and collaborate with these organizations, and receive material and financial assistance with the necessary approvals.
12- Carry out joint projects with public institutions and organizations in the fields within their jurisdiction, subject to the provisions of the Law on the Relations of Associations and Foundations with Public Institutions and Organizations No. 5072.
13- Establish a fund to meet the essential needs such as food, clothing of the association members and short-term credit needs for other goods and services.
14- Open representatives where deemed necessary.
15- Establish platforms in areas related to the purpose of the association and not prohibited by laws, form partnerships with other associations or foundations, unions, and similar civil society organizations to achieve a common goal, receive material and financial assistance by obtaining necessary permissions.
