Right to Membership and Membership Procedures
Article 3- Any natural or legal person who has legal capacity, embraces the aims and principles of the association, agrees to work accordingly, and meets the conditions prescribed by the legislation has the right to become a member of this association. However, foreign individuals must also have the right to settle in Turkey to be able to become members. This condition is not required for honorary membership.
Membership applications made in writing to the association presidency shall be decided upon by the association’s board of directors within a maximum of thirty days, either accepting the membership or rejecting the request, and the result shall be communicated to the applicant in writing. The accepted member shall be registered in the register to be kept for this purpose.
The main members of the association are the founders of the association and individuals who have been accepted as members by the board of directors upon their application.
Those who have provided significant support to the association, both materially and spiritually, can be accepted as honorary members by the decision of the board of directors.
Termination of Membership
Article 4- Every member has the right to terminate their membership by notifying in writing.
As soon as the member’s resignation letter reaches the board of directors, the exit process is considered completed. Resignation from membership does not terminate the member’s accumulated debts to the association.
Expulsion from Membership
Article 5- Cases requiring expulsion from membership of the association:
1- Engaging in behaviors contrary to the association’s bylaws.
2- Persistently avoiding assigned tasks.
3- Failing to pay membership dues within six months despite written warnings.
4- Failing to comply with decisions made by the association’s organs.
5- Losing the conditions for membership.
In the event that one of the above-mentioned situations is determined, the membership shall be terminated by the decision of the board of directors.
Those who have resigned or been expelled from the association shall be removed from the membership registry and shall not have any claim on the assets of the association.
